Neurodivergent Queer Affirming Counselling Services

with Liv Noël Dakkak MSW RSW, EMDR trained psychotherapist

In Ontario, Quebec & Alberta

Welcome!

I’m Liv, an autistic and ADHD registered social worker and therapist passionate about supporting other neurodivergent and queer humans, who have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood finally find a space where they don’t have to mask. I see people who are tired of explaining pieces of their identity to their providers, and are wanting a space where we look beyond rigid binaries.

Therapy with me is based in authenticity, curiosity and empathy. You can show up as you are: fidgety, stimming, quiet, nerdy, queer… it is welcome in this space.

I support individual youth & adults, as well as relationships/couples, who are navigating overwhelm, burnout, trauma, anxiety, depression, low self worth, identity and relationship struggles. My approach aims to be trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and rooted in safety and trust.

You deserve to be taken seriously and to feel seen.

I offer sessions in English and French, both in-person in Cornwall Ontario and virtually across Ontario, Quebec & now Alberta.

Living room with a beige sofa, decorated with white and orange pillows, a green hat, and a sign that reads 'My ducks are definitely not in a row.' In front of the sofa is a wooden coffee table with a woven tray holding a small plant, candles, and decorative items. On the floor is a patterned rug. Behind the sofa, a green wall features two abstract watercolor paintings in frames.

Interested in a free consultation?

I would be happy to connect with you for a free 15 minute consultation.

What is a consultation like? Consultations are a chance to ask questions about the kind of approaches that I use, how I show up in this work, and what it is like to work with me. In other words, it’s a quick vibe check before we have the first session to see if we’d be a good fit!
